| Completed: 1999 |
| Size: 100" x 130" |
Description: As Cheri and Linda's relationship grew as quilters and friends, Cheri decided to make a two of every quilt, one for herself, and one for Linda. Fly-fishing I and II were the beginning and end of this idea. They are really two different quilts; however, Cheri's appliqué flows from one into the other, and Linda mounted them and quilted them at the same time. After they were completed, it just seemed that they belonged together so Cheri whipped them together at the side binding.
The theme of these quilts is a little more masculine than some of the others. People really like looking at the fabrics and the quilting. One of the best features of the quilting is the many thread color changes and the way the quilting tends to lap around the fabric circles.
