__ Paisley on Parade Completed: 2003 Size: 80" x 80" Description: Cheri Meineke-Johnson designs the top on her design wall and then fussy cuts each piece from the chosen fabric. She then meticulously hand-appliques each design element in place. The background fabric is a gorgeous green with earthtones in the paisley appliqué fabric. Linda used a bright, light blue jean stitch to add just the right touch to bring the quilt to life. The blue thread is particularly striking from a distance with its uplifting blue fern-like corners. Freehand trapunto areas are everywhere on the quilt which makes it a joy to view.
