__ Starburst Completed: July 2003 Size: 82" x 82" Description: This quilt is very brightly colored and catches the eye from a great distance. Cheri designed, fussy cut and appliquéd the elements to a hand-dyed yellow cotton fabric. The backing fabric is what she used as her inspiration. The Trapunto is very high with airlight batting and the final batting is “Linda's Choice” by Hobbs. The bright neon green Mettler embroidery thread captures the feathers and other original motifs and perfectly sets them off.Linda went back over the thread at least 6 times to bring out the color and give it an “embroidered” look.
