Linda V. Taylor and Cheri Meineke-Johnson This incredible duo is responsible for all of the beautiful quilts seen on this web site. Cheri is responsible for the hand applique and design of each quilt. After Cheri is finished she hands the quilt over and let's Linda's longarm machine fly. When Linda is finished adding her beautiful freehand designs, Cheri takes the quilt back to add Swarovski crystals and a binding. When the quilt is completed, the applique and quilting go so perfectly together that it's hard to believe that there is never any planning between the two parties. Each person just does what they do best.
Linda V. Taylor Linda is a highly awarded longarm machine quilter whose work has been displayed in may venues and published in quilting magazine and books. Linda has been quilting for over 32 years and is well known and respected as one of the innovators of the art of longarm machine quilting. She has won numerous quilting awards in the AQS, IQA, and NQA international quilting shows. Linda has appeared on numerous television programs with well-known celebrities and now has her own PBS television show named Linda's Longarm Quilting, now in it's third season. She has produced several videos and books on longarm techniques and over 120 patterns. She is the author of The Ultimate Guide to Longarm Quilting published by C&T Publishing Company. She maintains and intense teaching schedule around the country. She owns and operates two Gammill machine dealerships which offer longarm training for both beginning and advanced students. Cheri Meineke-Johnson Cheri's quilts have won numerous quilting awards in major international shows. She touts seven "Best of Show" awards. Her quilts have been in special exhibits and museum in the United States and Europe, including "Free Motion Masterpieces" 2004 in the New England Quilt Museum. She has appeared on PBS television demonstrating her unique techniques and showing off her phenomenal quilts. She is in the process of producing several books featuring her quilts and techniques. She owns and operates Cheri's Crystals and travels all around the country demonstrating her techniques in workshops, at quilt shows, and presentations for quilt guilds.
